Despite all the bright and gloomy days, all the fight of evil and good, all the wounds and all the scars, my heart still beats strong for my country, my hope still lives on. Like a child full of life and dream, awaiting miracles that will drive the course of his life, but also with a pain in my heavy heart, I once climbed the hill in front of the overwhelming Nanga Parbat till its top, to behold this piece of heaven on my land and to bury the pain of my aching heart forever there. Alone and calm, looking at the might of the Nanga Parbat in awe when I witnessed this deadly gorgeous avalanche. Taking me by surprise, I captured it in this photograph, while all captivated and astounded, it buried in it what I was burying. This is my most favorite landscape photograph, one because it’s an out of this world jewel adorning my motherland, increasing my love for my dear Pakistan, and two because it helped me soothe my aching heart and showed me that no matter how hard time and how many times it gets, it still stays tall, still strong and hopeful of a better tomorrow. That one day, all the sorrow will be gone, and my dear Pakistan will dance in joy, without a worry, like a child, full of life.
