On 4th February 2026, the Ismaili community of Hussaini Gojal came together in the early morning hours to celebrate Imamat Day with immense joy, devotion, and spiritual energy.
The atmosphere was filled with zeal and zest, as hearts overflowed with gratitude for the sacred institution of Imamat — a guiding light for millions around the world.
This blessed day marks the historic moment when Mawlana Hazar Imam succeeded his father, Mawlana Shah Karim, becoming the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. For the community, this is not only an anniversary, but a powerful reminder of the unbroken chain of spiritual guidance, wisdom, and leadership that continues to illuminate their lives.
From the break of dawn, Jamatkhana surroundings reflected a spirit of celebration and unity.
Community members, young and old, gathered dressed in their best, with smiles that showed both pride and deep spiritual connection. Special prayers were offered in humility and thankfulness, remembering the Imam’s constant guidance in matters of faith, education, service, and the betterment of humanity.
Imamat Day in Hussaini Gojal was more than a ceremony — it was a renewal of the spiritual bond (Bay’ah) between the Imam and his murids. Speeches, reflections, and heartfelt conversations centered on the Imam’s vision of peace, knowledge, compassion, and service to society. Volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes, showing the true spirit of seva (service), which is at the heart of the community.
The celebration beautifully reflected unity, discipline, and devotion. It was a day of gratitude, identity, and hope, where every prayer carried love, and every gathering strengthened the sense of belonging to one global Jamat under the guidance of a living Imam.
Imamat Day in Hussaini Gojal was not just remembered — it was deeply felt, celebrated with faith, dignity, and an unshakable sense of spiritual connection.
