The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation is honored to announce that its mission videoโoriginally produced by Public Interest Registry (PIR) for the 2024 .ORG Impact Awardsโhas been awarded three Silver Telly Awards in the categories of Social Responsibility, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and Craft โ Use of Remote Production. This global recognition celebrates not only excellence in video production but also the depth and authenticity of our mission-driven work: to ensure that no Filipino child is left behind, no matter how remote the journey.
With over 13,000 entries submitted from across the globe, the Telly Awards highlight the very best in video and television across all screens, honoring work from the worldโs leading agencies, production houses, and nonprofit organizations. For our foundationโa humble movement that began with a single yellow boatโthis triple win is a celebration of the extraordinary power of purpose and the global resonance of stories rooted in hope.
At Yellow Boat of Hope, we hold fast to two simple but profound beliefs: โ๐๐ญ๐ญ ๐ช๐ต ๐ต๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ค๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ด ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ,โ and โ๐๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐จ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ต ๐ด๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ๐บ ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐จ๐ช๐ฏ๐ด ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ค๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ.โ These guiding truths continue to shape our journey and fuel the waves of compassion that carry us forward.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Public Interest Registry (PIR) for their unwavering supportโfor producing this powerful video and submitting it on our behalf with such love and belief in our mission. As PIR Director for Community Engagement and Marketing Megan Waters so beautifully said in her congratulatory email,
We also extend heartfelt thanks to Sugarman Productions, and to Lawrence Agustin and Fou Arakama of Game Night Production Co., who directed and captured our story on the ground in the Philippines. Through your lens, the spirit of bayanihan and the dreams of our last-mile learners have reached the world.
To our volunteers, donors, partners, and Hope Paddlers across the Philippines and beyondโthis win belongs to you. You are the soul of every yellow boat we build, every child we support, and every community we serve. Your compassion is what turns stories into movements and dreams into lasting change. because of you! โต
As we celebrate this extraordinary milestone, we are reminded that hope is not just a messageโit is a movement. And today, that movement shines even brighter.
Letโs keep paddling. The world is watchingโand hope is contagious.
