Dr. Alain’s journey into medicine wasn’t a straight road — it was a choice shaped by curiosity, passion, and a desire to make an impact, even as he explored non-traditional paths outside the clinic. From skateboards to longboards, and eventually to surfboards, his love for adventure has always fueled his perspective on life: embracing risk, seeking balance, and riding uncertainty with courage.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Alain is also carving out a name in film and content creation. His short film Search for the Perfect Wave, created with the ABOCS family and fellow filmmakers, captures the soulful connection between man, ocean, and home.
The film won Best Short Film and Best in Story at the 1st Tourisinema de Cagayan Short Film Festival, with additional nominations for Best Director, Cinematography, Editing, and Musical Scoring.
