I’m excited to announce that our principal bill (authored by your humble public servant and Congressman Romeo S. Momo Sr.) for the establishment of the College of Medicine in the North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) has been passed in the 3rd and Final Reading before the House of Representatives.

A great achievement occurring before sine die adjournment the First Regular Session, the efforts both both Surigaonon Congressmen were done in collaboration with fellow visionaries and dreamers who strive to make them closer to reality.

This is for our greater community in Surigao del Sur and Northeastern Mindanao.

WATCH | Special Committee on Strategic Intelligence Hon. Ayec T. Pimentel discusses his concerns on a proposed provision in the bill for the National Preventive Mechanism against Torture which allows “unannounced visits” before military facilities and installations holding Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
