“You get what you f**king deserve.”
Joker is still one of those films that sticks with me years after watching it. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance, the cinematography, the color palette, and the overall mood made every frame feel like a photograph.
I finally had the chance to spend some time with my Hot Toys DX42 Joker, and instead of just taking product shots, I wanted to recreate some of the film’s atmosphere. These aren’t exact scene recreations, more like my own interpretation of the moments that made the movie unforgettable.
Toy photography is always a fun challenge. It’s about making a 1/6 scale figure feel believable through lighting, composition, and a bit of patience. Hope I did Arthur Fleck justice.
