Being around Jao & Tammi felt so easy and familiar, like celebrating with family. It says so much about how genuine they are, the kind of people who make everyone around them feel at home.🥹

They were blessed with such a beautiful day. Clear skies, a warm sunset, surrounded by the best kind of people who showed up for them fully, with so much love and energy.🥹

Your photographer is engaged.🙈🌸🥹

It felt right to share it here. Sunday Morning Studios is home, after all.🥹

I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal. When Jay and I started talking about it, all I asked for was something simple and private. He kept joking about a flash mob. But I know he knows me, and that I’d probably run off if he did that… after, of course, saying yes.😆

Oh, and he even knew the ring I would love. I didn’t even know it myself.

I would have said yes anywhere. Even at home, on our most ordinary day. But Jay knew how to make it special. He gave me a moment, a story—something that feels very us. I kind of felt it coming, but it still felt so surreal—in the best possible way.😌

I’ll embrace being a fiancée, even if it still feels funny to say. Hihi.🙈

To Sunday Morning Studios—my team, our brides and grooms, and everyone we’ve crossed paths with—I’ve felt your love and excitement for me for the longest time. And I’m just really happy to share this piece of our story with you.🥹

It’s a simple gesture, but it means a lot.

Sunday Morning Studios is a big part of why I get to live this life—to explore, to move, and to see the world with kindness and honesty.🥹

We built this with so much intention, always guided by our values and I take pride in it.🥹

Luis and Lor met year 2015. Since then, they’ve seen each other through different seasons, growing, changing, and finding their way into the people they are today.😌

In each other, they found a safe space and a best friend.😌

Some might call these unconventional:

Roch and Elmo prepared together. They saw each other in their wedding attires before the ceremony. No entourage. No post-nup shoot. And right after the ceremony, they headed straight to cocktail hour.🥂

We don’t think they were trying to be “unconventional” on purpose. They were simply doing what felt right to them.😌

And maybe that’s what makes a wedding feel personal —not whether it follows tradition or breaks it, but whether it feels like you.🥹

We label things because we’re human. It helps us explain what we see - traditional, modern, unconventional, and the list goes on!😌

At the end of the day, it really just comes down to choosing what matters most to you. It’s your wedding day, after all. Whatever feels most like you — that’s the right way.✨
