Temporary.

They say everything passes—both the pain and the joy.
But no one really talks about how confusing that feels while you’re in it. How something so good can exist one moment, then disappear the next like it was never promised to stay.

It’s strange how joy can hurt, too. Not while it’s happening, but after. When all that’s left are memories you can’t relive the same way again. That’s where the grieving begins—not for something broken, but for something that was once whole and simply… ended.

And starting over? It doesn’t feel like a fresh beginning. It feels like carrying pieces of what used to be, trying to figure out where they belong now. Because there was a time when it felt permanent—like you had finally found something that wouldn’t leave.

Maybe nothing is meant to stay the same. Maybe everything is only meant to pass through—to be felt, to be lived, and eventually, to be released.

Maybe the point was never to keep things forever, but to allow them to change us while they were here.

Sometimes the closer you get, the more real everything feels. What once seemed manageable from a distance begins to carry a different weight when it’s finally right in front of you. The thoughts grow louder, the questions become harder to ignore, and the quiet moments feel heavier than usual.

New experiences have a way of bringing both fear and awareness at the same time. Not because of weakness, but because of how much it matters. Standing at this point isn’t easy—but it also means so much has already been overcome to get here.

So even with uncertainty, the choice is to keep moving forward. Slowly, gently, but surely. Because sometimes, courage isn’t loud—it’s simply continuing, even when everything starts to feel real.

To watch the land from above made me realize that the world is far too big for us to stay stuck on the problems we carry.

From a higher view, everything looks smaller—the roads, the houses, even the spaces that once felt overwhelming. What seemed heavy and consuming from the ground becomes just a tiny detail in a vast landscape. It doesn’t mean our problems are invalid. It simply means they are not the whole story.

There is something humbling about seeing how wide the fields stretch, how mountains stand still, how clouds move without rushing. The world continues, steady and expansive, reminding us that life is larger than our current worries. We are part of something bigger—bigger than our fears, bigger than our doubts.

Sometimes, all we need is a shift in perspective. When we rise above for a moment, we remember that we are not trapped. There is still so much space to grow, to move forward, and to begin again.
