🐻 90 minutes of pure bear chaos!
Two juvenile coastal brown bears gave us the ultimate private show—wrestling, splashing, and tumbling like furry gladiators. No crowds. Perfect angles. Just raw Alaska magic.

The black guillemot — sleek and bold! With striking black plumage, white wing patches, and those unmistakable red feet, they make quite the entrance when landing on water.

I do love that drones can offer perspectives we simply can’t get to otherwise. For this shot, I flew the drone within 3 feet of the waterfall while its collision avoidance system protested loudly and dramatically the whole way 😅 Totally worth it?

Soft focus, big personality.
Puffins don’t always need to be sharp to leave an impression. I chose this approach to be more expressive.

Puffins are full of personality—and there are countless ways to photograph them. While they don’t always lend themselves to striking silhouettes, sometimes the light and sky align just right. The textured clouds added a beautiful mood to this moment—an unexpected bonus that made the image more expressive.
