Been learning a lot with lettering and design, using Adobe Fresco and Illustrator, created a few different logo concepts but I really liked this one. Most of the logos I've played with before I used a premade font and just made minor adjustments to existing work or had someone create something for me that I would then modify for myself.

This (series, there are others that I didn't like as much) is the first I completely sketched and assembled on my own. I might play with colors and such but I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out.

So I wiped the grease from my hands onto my pant legs and said, "I do this for you all! The people!"

My wife has yet to understand the symbology of these actions, but the grease stains are proof of my dedication to the cause.

The Glacier Gorge trailhead in RMNP has got to be my most travelled trail in Colorado. I hike the trails here multiple times a year.

While I value exploration and learning my neurotype makes it so that I can get very uncomfortable with the unknown. What's familiar and routine is extremely soothing to me.

I still experience thrill and excitement from trying something new and seeing new things, but I rely on my staples to ground me. For every new trail I hike, I'll return to my old favorites 2 to 3 times more.

Does anyone else have a favorite trail that they'll hike repeatedly?

During our hike to Loch Vale we climbed up what is usually a boulder ridden river. The view up this canyon is something you can't really experience in summer months.

Admittedly I would not recommend reversing this route without snow shoes like we did. The snow is incredibly deep here and one wing step could be bad. (almost was bad)
