A 1-Year-and-5-Month-Old’s First Breathtaking Adventure
We had an unforgettable island tour in Matnog, Sorsogon, and were joined by a lovely Indian family. That’s where I met this cute little boy, just 1 year and 5 months old, yet already full of wonder and courage.
One of the highlights of our tour was an underground cave that you could only enter by swimming through the water.
And guess what?
This brave little boy did it too.
Wearing just a life vest and guided gently by the boatman, he floated into that dark cave with no fear. Wide-eyed, calm, and fully present. No hesitation. Just pure trust and curiosity.
It was honestly inspiring to witness.
While we, the adults, wrestled with hesitation, overthinking, and emotion, this little child simply lived in the moment and embraced the adventure as if the world was made just for him.
It made me think:
Sometimes, life would be better if we could just be a child again.
Fearless. Curious. Free.
This trip reminded me that courage doesn’t always come from strength. Sometimes, it comes from innocence, wonder, and simply trusting the flow of life.
Let’s live with a little more of that childlike wonder.
You never know where it might take you. 🌊🌴✨
