CONVENTION SHOOT PREPARATION TIPS

1. PRACTICE YOUR FAVORITE POSES in the mirror (before the shoot)
-if you have practiced/memorized your favorite poses, you save lots of time by not always checking your reference, you get more photos also from your limited shooting time.
-magka idea ka din sa mga bagay na gusto mo lang na poses, para ndi mo na itatrial yun pose na yun sa actual shoot, saves you time.

2. COSPLAY TRIAL
-If its your first time using your cos in the convention and you have a booked shoot, its always a great idea to do a trial first
-so you can have an idea what you actually feel while wearing the costume.
-youll have an idea if something still needs to be fixed or adjusted in your cos, wig or props.
-Youll have an idea on the posing limits you can do while wearing the cos.
-ifever you do cos trial might as well do #1 at the same time

3. BRING FIRST AID KIT (for emergency)
-tape , glue , hairpin , -safetypin / pardible (andami na niligtas nito na kashoot ko)
-para sa mga unexpected malfunction situations sa cos before or during the shoot

4. TALK TO YOUR PHOTOGS
-dont be shy to contradict your photog if they are making you do a facial expression or pose that your chara doesn't do (if you always prefer to be canon)
-dont be shy to tell them if you have favorite side/angle (so your photog can adjust their lighting or your position to your preference)
-you can also tell your photog if you prefer more portrait or landscape shots
-feel free to tell your photog if you also want high cortisol shots (jump shots, back breaking shots or any hard body flexing shots)
-feel free to tell photog also if you only prefer low cortisol shots (chill poses only, no flexing, no kneeling, no sitting etc.)
-tell them if hindi ka pwede masyado nakatingala kase baka mahulog yun wig, tell them your limits in posing
-tell them anything you want to share about your chara before or during the shoot, communication is the key!

OPTIONALS
5. BRING REFERENCE (optional)
-if you do not have any memorized poses or do not want to memorize poses.
-if you really want to emulate your reference to your shot or show the photog the angle that you prefer for your shot
-1 diadvantage if you use too much reference is its time consuming (since commission shoots have limited time)

6. BRING ASSISTANT (optional)
-hair flip/ cloth flip/ taga bantay ng gamit while bz ka sa shoot
