Pride was never solely about celebrating. It was about what weโre fighting for-our community, our rights, our being. Deep-rooted stigma is one of those challenges, that somehow the LGBTQ+ individuals are somehow โother or โless humanโ, calling us names and phrases such as โberde og dugoโ that is used to mock and alienate q***r people. Yet today we still protest and celebrate our Pride and challenge those challenges we "berdeng dugo" face everyday.
