𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑, 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍! 🙏⛰️

From late night worship sessions that touch the soul, to unforgettable moments spent high up in the mountains, YMC Camp has always been so much more than just a summer gathering. It is our sacred ground where faith is ignited, true friendships are formed, and life’s true purpose becomes clear.

Last week, June 1–7, we witnessed another powerful camp season come and go. This year, the theme rang loud and true: UNSHAKEN. 🩵🔥

Today, I want to share a beautiful testimony, a story that truly touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes, about two incredible young souls: my beloved son Deniel Carlbiene Arceo, and his Unit Captain, Pepito.

I remember back in June 8, 2025, when the previous camp ended. My son spoke so highly of her, always praising her as a leader, responsible, kind, and truly a good Captain to their unit. Before they parted ways that year, he specifically asked to take a picture with her, simply to keep a memory of the wonderful leader who guided them. That photo became a precious keepsake of their friendship and bond.

Fast forward to this year…

Another camp began, and something amazing happened. My son made the most important decision of his life: to surrender and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior through Baptism.

But God had an even sweeter surprise in store.
Unbeknownst to him, his very own Unit Captain, Anthonette, had carried the same desire in her heart. She too, was ready to take that step of faith.

And so, history wrote itself again.
From May 31 to June 8, 2025—from being just members of the same unit “FORGED IN FAITH, BOUND IN FRIENDSHIP” in training and friendship…
TOGETHER, THEY CHOSE JESUS. 🤍🌊

I stood there, watching these two young individuals side by side, being baptized by our beloved Youth Director, Pastor Von John Sanchez. My heart overflowed, and tears just fell uncontrollably. To see the bond they built last year lead them both to the foot of the Cross is a mother’s greatest joy and a true blessing to witness.

From one photo as friends… to one photo as BROTHER and SISTER in CHRIST. 🙌

To my son and to you, Anthonette:
This is just the beginning. Life will have storms, challenges, and trials, but remember what you declared this camp—YOU ARE UNSHAKEN.

May your roots grow deep in His love. May you stand firm on His Word, no matter what comes your way. Continue to shine bright, lead with love, and keep your faith alive.

Nakakita ra ko ani nga post ug tinuod lang, wa jud ko nakapugong mao ako jud gi screenshot ug gi post, kay tulo na ka anak nako ang NAHUMAN NA sa Grade 1.

Sa tanang mga inahan ug ginikanan diha, hangyo lang jud ta: palihog ayaw mo reklamo bahin sa mga requirements nga bondpapers, ilabi na nga gamay ra kaayo ang gipangayo—50 pieces lang. ❗️

Kabalo ba mo nga daghan kaayo silag activities sa eskwelahan? Ilabi na sa Kinder ug Grade 1, kay mao pay mga panahon nga nagkat-on ug nag-practice pa jud og maayo ang mga bata. Tungod ani, kinahanglan jud nga mag-print ang mga magtutudlo para sa ilang mga buluhaton ug leksyon. Daghan kaayo ang ilang mga trabaho. Sa akong mga anak gani, gamay ra ng duha ka buok lang nga activity madlaa sa bata inig uli—kada adlaw na sila hatagan og mga gi-print nga activity sa mga maestra para nila.

Mao nang hinaot, ikaw nga nag-reklamo, mahibaw-an nimo ang tinuod nga kahimtang inig klase. Tuohi ko, ang 50 ka buok kulang ra kaayo para sa tibuok tuig. Sa tinuod lang, molapas pa gani sa usa (1) ka ream ang magamit sa usa ka bata sulod sa tibuok school year.

Busa, kung duna moy igong kwarta o gusto motabang, nindot unta kung mag-donate na lang mo ug bondpapers, kay dako jud ni nga tabang ug gikinahanglan kaayo sa atong mga magtutudlo. 🙏🩵

As Ate of the YMC, I am really so happy and proud because naa na sad misunod ni Sivan nga Nurse sa YMC! Finally, naa na sad koy kauban nga youth nurse here in camp. 🙌🩺

To be honest, kaning naa na ta mga kiddos and little ones around, usahay dili jud ta ka‑focus sa atong tasks because we are busy looking after them. So it is really a big blessing and a very good thing that we have young people like him here in camp. Having youth volunteers really helps a lot, especially incase of emergencies or if someone needs medical attention. We can work better and serve everyone properly now. 🩺🏕️

I am so, so thankful for you, Dave. I know you just graduated and you really deserve to rest and take a break, but instead, you chose to come here and serve our youth. That is such a beautiful heart and dedication. 🙏💖

Padayon lang, D**g! God sees everything you are doing, every effort and every sacrifice you give. He will surely bless you more and more.

I joined the Brigada Eskwela Kick‑Off 2026, and I brought along my son, Den Elijah.

It was such a memorable day! The best part of it all — he had the wonderful chance to meet our City Mayor, Mayor Nestor Archival in person, and we were so blessed to get a photo taken with him.

Thank you so much, Mayor, for gracing our school with your presence. We are really very happy and thankful that you found time to visit us. Truly, your presence made our event more meaningful, alive, and very special. And honestly, Mayor, we really felt how important we are to you and to our city government.

As the President of the Parents‑Teachers Association, I want to say thank you very much. This is the first time I met you in person and had the chance to talk to you, and I was really so happy and impressed. The way you speak and the way you approach people, so humble, kind, and very friendly, it really shows that you are a good public servant and a true leader with a heart.

Thank you also, Mayor, for your big generosity and continuous support to our school. We really see and appreciate all the help and projects you have given to us. It is a very big help for the progress and improvement of our school, our facilities, and the quality of education for our children. Because of your support, we are more inspired to work together, parents and teachers, to give the best for our students. We are hoping and praying that you will continue to help and guide us so that our school will become even better and more progressive.

On your birthday, Mayor, my prayer for you is good health, strong body, and more wisdom as you continue to lead our city. May God bless you always, give you more strength, and protect you in all your duties.
