We reviewed the official SALNs, which public officials are legally required to file annually.

• Liabilities (such as loans, mortgages, and other forms of debt)
• Business interests or financial affiliations
• Assets of their spouse and dependent children

In instances where the SALN was incomplete or unavailable, we consulted secondary sources such as:
• Investigative journalism and news articles
• Public declarations of business affiliations
• Verified records of real estate ownership
• Campaign finance disclosures submitted during elections
