One day, one of you will celebrate your first Mother’s Day or Father’s Day… alone.
It’s a thought we don’t like to think about, but it’s a reality every couple will eventually face.
So don’t wait for a special day to appreciate your spouse.
Don’t wait until they’re gone to wish you had said “thank you” one more time.
Tell them you appreciate how hard they work.
Thank them for the meals, the laundry, the long days, the sacrifices, and the love they give your family.
Hold their hand a little longer.
Say “I love you” a little more often.
Forgive quickly.
Laugh together.
Make time for each other.
Because when all that’s left are memories, you’ll never wish you had bought more things.
You’ll wish you had shared more moments.
❤️ Celebrate your spouse while they’re still beside you, not because the calendar says it’s Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, but because love deserves to be shown every day.
