Turning eighteen feels strange in the most beautiful way.

One moment, you’re still the little girl everyone used to protect. Then suddenly, life starts looking at you differently. Bigger dreams. Bigger decisions. Bigger responsibilities.

A client, (Ma’am Jen), reached out to arrange a surprise photoshoot for her daughter. We carefully planned everything just a day before the shoot to ensure the moments would feel natural and memorable. Since I’m accustomed to approaching strangers as part of my photography style, I pretended to be casually roaming the area when I “happened” to come across them.

And yes, Josel, it was your mom’s plan all along.

Thank you for trusting me with such a special occasion. Belated happy birthday! I’m truly grateful to have been part of your celebration. Special thanks as well to Mikay for being part of the surprise.

Love, in its purest form, is about choosing each other every single day, without hesitation, without fear.
