𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇

Ngayong 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, muling pinapaalala sa atin ang 𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗽, 𝗽𝗮𝗴-𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 para sa ating mga kapatid na nasa autism spectrum.

Bilang isang ama at autism advocate, patuloy ang ating paninindigan na ang 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽, 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻. Nawa’y magsilbi itong paanyaya sa ating lahat na 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁, 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮.

Panahon na upang higit pang palakasin ang mga programa, serbisyo, at batas na magtitiyak ng mas maayos na kinabukasan para sa autism community.

Ang 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗦𝗣) ay magsasagawa ng taunang 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. To the Deaf Community,

The event titled “Deaf Present: Family Life – Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope” was a success. Thank you to all fellow officers and Deaf Community participants who actively joined and interacted during the activity.

As a community, we continue to grow—building stronger relationships in family life, strengthening our faith, and supporting one another through church activities and retreats. We encourage everyone to keep pursuing their goals and to express their life experiences with both mind and heart in Jesus, remembering that strong family life leads us as Pilgrims of Hope.

Thank you to our Deaf speaker for sharing his family life experiences and inspiring our community participants. We truly appreciate the talk given by Kuya Cruz / Zernice Mae Cruz and Thank you for leading with Via Dolorosa White Cross Antipolo City - Stations of the Cross.

To the Deaf Community,

The event titled “Lent: Ash Wednesday” was a success. Thank you to my fellow officers and to all Deaf Community participants who actively joined and interacted during the activity.

The Deaf Community learned and showed eagerness to understand the meaning of Ash Wednesday. We were reminded that Lent lasts from Ash Wednesday until sundown on Holy Thursday, with Sundays not counted in the 40 days of fasting.

Thank you, Sister Floria, for teaching us about Lent, the suffering of Jesus, and the importance of fasting and reflection.

Thank you for the invitation. We attended and truly appreciated the presence of the two hearing priests who led the Confessions and the Holy Mass.

We also thank the donors for providing New Testament Bibles from the Philippine Bible Society.

During Confession, we prayed, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned,” in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Antipolo ay nakikiisa sa paggunita ng 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 744, s. 2004. 👩‍🦽💜

Itinatag ang paggunita na ito upang kilalanin ang kakayahan, dignidad, at mahalagang ambag ng mga kababaihang may kapansanan sa lipunan. Layunin din nitong itaguyod ang pantay na karapatan, inklusibong oportunidad, at paggalang sa kanilang tinig, kakayahan, at pangarap. ✨

Sa araw na ito, hinihikayat ang bawat Antipoleño na maging katuwang sa pagbuo ng isang komunidad na bukas, patas, at mapagmalasakit—sapagkat ang tunay na kaunlaran ay nasusukat sa kung paano natin pinapahalagahan ang bawat isa, anuman ang kanilang kalagayan. 🤝💙

Ang panukalang batas ay naglalayong 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗯𝗮’𝘁 𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘆𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼, 𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼, hindi lamang panandalian, kundi pangmatagalan para sa patuloy na pag-unlad at kapakanan ng mga persons with Down Syndrome.

Malaki rin ang naging papel ng iba’t ibang PWD advocates at mga katuwang sa pamahalaan sa paghubog ng panukalang ito. Kabilang dito si 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 “𝗟𝗝” 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗜𝗜, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗪𝗗 𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼 para sa mga panukalang batas ukol sa persons with disabilities, na aktibong nakibahagi sa mga talakayan, committee hearings, at technical working group meetings upang magbigay ng mga rekomendasyon para sa mas maayos at inklusibong mga programa at serbisyo.

“𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲. Patuloy ang panawagan ng mga tagasuporta ng panukala para sa agarang pagpasa nito sa mga susunod na yugto ng lehislasyon, bilang hakbang tungo sa isang mas inklusibo at makataong lipunan para sa lahat.

We are honored to have Dx. Domingo and Dx. Rafa from the Filipino Sign Language College of St. Benilde, who highlighted an important observation:

“It is clear that Filipino Sign Language (FSL) functions as the primary language or medium of instruction. It is especially beneficial to introduce it at an early stage—particularly for young children—through the involvement of Deaf educators.”

Dr. Raphael Vergel de Dios Domingo from the Filipino Sign Language College of St. Benilde shared an important insight:

"It would be clear that Filipino Sign Language (FSL) is the language or the medium of instruction. And it's always best to start specially with very young children to have deaf teachers themselves."

The event titled “Beyond Sound: Life and Expression in Deaf Visual Art” was a success. Thank you to my fellow officers and to all Deaf Community participants who actively joined and interacted during the activity.

As a community, we are still growing and gaining more experiences. We encourage everyone to continue pursuing their goals and expressing their life experiences through painting and visual art, whatever their skills and talents may be.

Thank you for teaching and sharing with our community participants and helping them learn through this experience. We truly appreciate the lecture given by Kuya Daniel Philip Ubeda Acerden🤟❤️🎨
