Time and age are catching up to some players in the PNG Hunters squad. It's time to bring this young man into the first 17 lineup.

Haters, chill out! I'll keep advocating for Felix Beki until he earns the number 07 jersey for the PNG Hunters.

'Samting bilong wokim mistake na lainim gen yah,' (It's okay to make mistakes and learn from them). Send this man into the first 17!"

Grey Listing is not just a warning—it is a national embarrassment and a clear signal that something is seriously wrong with leadership and governance in our country. Bob Tana of WiruWatch states that this situation shows how those in power have failed to protect the integrity and reputation of Papua New Guinea.
When leaders misuse authority or ignore the systems that are meant to safeguard the nation, it is the ordinary people who suffer. Businesses struggle, opportunities are lost, and the name of our country is dragged down on the international stage.
The people of Papua New Guinea deserve better. Leadership must be about responsibility, honesty, and service—not abuse of power. Now is the time for accountability, transparency, and real change, so that our nation can restore its dignity and move forward with pride.
If you want, I can also make a short, punchy version for Facebook that hits even harder.

I am deeply disappointed with the final results of the Miss Pacific Islands 2026 pageant. With all due respect to the organizers and contestants, I strongly believe that the crown should have gone to Miss Papua New Guinea, not Miss Fiji.
Throughout the competition, Miss PNG demonstrated confidence, intelligence, cultural pride, and true Pacific representation. She carried herself with grace and strength, and she answered questions with clarity and wisdom. Many supporters believe she truly embodied the spirit of the Pacific Islands.
While we respect Miss Fiji and congratulate her achievement, there is a strong feeling among supporters that the judging did not fairly reflect the performance and impact of Miss PNG. It is painful to see someone who performed exceptionally well fall short of the ultimate title.
This is not about disrespecting any contestant. It is about fairness, transparency, and giving credit where it is due. Pageants should inspire unity and celebrate genuine excellence. When the public feels unheard, it raises questions that deserve attention.
We remain proud of Miss Papua New Guinea. To us, she is a true winner. Her strength, dignity, and representation of our nation cannot be taken away by a title.
PNG stands proud. 🇵🇬

Peace, Unity, and Reconciliation – Imilhoma, Upper Lai Lai Valley LLG.

At Imilhoma in the Upper Lai Lai Valley LLG, our communities came together to witness and participate in a historic Peace and Reconciliation Ceremony. This gathering marked a renewed commitment by all parties to put aside past conflicts, forgive one another, and move forward together in unity and harmony.

The reconciliation addressed long-standing issues dating back to 1994, demonstrating the power of leadership, dialogue, tradition, and faith in restoring relationships. Mak and Pui, Temin, Paip and Pui, Ogol and Pui, Keprop and Lem, and Mesur and Mesur have all reconciled, reflecting the genuine desire of the communities to rebuild trust and live in peace. The Kengup and Kombrop tribes were absent, but the door remains open for their participation in future reconciliation efforts.
During the ceremony, the youths played a key role by uprooting Maruana and presenting it as a symbol of offering to God, showing their respect for tradition and commitment to peace. One of the most significant aspects of this reconciliation was the one-week crusade, which united all participants in spiritual reflection, worship, and prayer. This crusade sought God’s guidance, blessings, and continued peace among the tribes, and strengthened the bonds of understanding, forgiveness, and communal harmony.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of the Vice Minister for State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), Hon. Raphael Tonpi, who delivered a strong and inspiring message emphasizing the importance of peace, unity, respect, and cooperation as the foundation for community development and long-term stability. His words reminded everyone that lasting progress can only be achieved when communities live together in harmony, guided by faith and mutual respect.

The people of Upper Lai and community leaders expressed their sincere gratitude to Hon. Raphael Tonpi for hosting this historic reconciliation ceremony through the one-week crusade. His leadership, commitment, and support were pivotal in bringing the communities together and fostering lasting peace and unity.

This reconciliation demonstrates that peace is our collective responsibility and unity is our strength. When we choose dialogue over conflict, cooperation over division, and faith over bitterness, we create opportunities for growth, stability, and prosperity. Let us continue to nurture this peace, respect one another, and teach our young people the values of forgiveness, dialogue, faith, and togetherness.
May the spirit of peace, unity, and reconciliation continue to guide our communities and strengthen relationships across the Upper Lai Lai Valley LLG. God bless our people and our land. 🙏🤝

I will personally take up the HTL Agenda on Social License and make my way to Sydney to attend the Mining & Petroleum Conference — even if I have to appear self-invited. This issue is too important to ignore and too urgent to delay.

My intention is to formally approach the CEO and Managing Director of New Porgera Limited and place before them the genuine concerns, expectations, and aspirations of our people. The matter of Social License is not just a policy issue; it is about respect, recognition, inclusion, and the long-term wellbeing of the customary landowners and affected communities.

For too long, decisions have been made without proper consultation and meaningful participation of those who are directly impacted. I am determined to bring forward a people-centred voice — one that speaks for fairness, transparency, and partnership.

This is not a personal mission. It is a community mission. It is about restoring trust, strengthening relationships, and making sure that development is guided by justice, responsibility, and mutual respect.

Powi’s application has been refused by the court, and the matter will now be ruled on the 10th in Mt Hagen. This is a significant decision that reflects the strength of the legal process and the importance of accountability in our system.

This outcome brings hope and confidence to the people of Southern Highlands Province. It shows that justice cannot be compromised and that the voices of the people still matter. It is a powerful reminder that no one is above the law, regardless of status or position.

Today is a victory for the people of SHP — a victory for justice, peace, and the rule of law. Let us remain calm, united, and respectful as we await the final ruling on the 10th. Our strength remains in our unity and in our belief in a fair and lawful process.

Doctors at the Children’s Hospital in Sydney have confirmed the heartbreaking death of conjoined twin Tom, who passed away shortly after an emergency separation surgery.

His brother, Sawong, survived the high-risk procedure and remains in critical care.

The twins were urgently flown from Paradise Private Hospital in Port Moresby to Sydney by Manalos Aviation. Australian medical teams later confirmed that Tom had almost no chance of surviving the separation, but proceeded with emergency surgery on Sunday morning to save Sawong.

In a seven-hour operation described as “one body with two souls entering the theatre,” surgeons successfully separated the boys. Only one survived.

Families, supporters, and the medical teams across PNG and Australia are being asked to continue praying as little Sawong remains under close care.

SOCIAL media platforms have been inundated with speculation following the reported mysterious death of a Grade 12 student from Hagen Park Day Secondary School, whose body was allegedly found in a creek two days after her graduation.

The student, identified as Delayn Yapi, was said to have graduated on Thursday, 4 December, and was believed to have spent time with friends in the days after the ceremony.

Her body was reportedly discovered early this morning under unclear circumstances, sparking widespread concern and emotional reactions across various online forums.
