ENGA, MAIP MULITAKA PORGERA DISTRICT, YABALI TOWARDS NET REGION, ROAD PROJECT.

MAIP MULITAKA LLG, (8) Council Words, starting from Yabali, Kandak, Tombaip, poreak, Yalum, Wali, Wijaka, Lyem, Malamanda Net Region, more than 20 thousand populations Council Words 8, few kilometers away from Sepik.

This initiative aims to build better new cutting that road connect Enga Province with Sepik.

For a long time, people of Yabali, Kandak,Tombaip , Poreak, Yalum, Wali, Wijaka, Lyam, Malamanda Net Region have been isolated making it difficult to without road access medical care, education, Tombaip Primary school, Yalum Primary school, Malamanda Primary school, Cultural Show, Health center, Yalum airstrip and other essential services. Many communities in Net Region close to Sepik have faced years of neglect, living in difficult conditions far from the Net Region few Kilometers from Sepik.

The short stretches of roads, as progress was halted due to challenging landscape. Area is filled with high mountains, dense jungles, rocky outcrops, and dangerous Lagaip rivers, making road construction very difficult.

Fortunately, Mr. Amet Andrew support by people of Yamabli, Kandak, Tombaip, Poreak, Yalum, Wali, Wijaka, Lyem, Malamanda, Net Region, has made significant progress where others have struggled. They have been working hard through tough terrain, successfully clearing and preparing the land, and laying down. So far, about 86 Kilometers from MULITAKA towords last place Net Region, road has been built from towards Sepik, with only a few kilometers left to connect these once-isolated communities.

We are hopeful that last section will soon be completed, opening up many new opportunities for the people in these areas.
