A voice of caution, a leader true,
Sir Tei Abal spoke, with foresight anew.
“We’re not ready,” he said, with thoughtful grace,
“The Highlands need time, to find their place.”
He did not refuse freedom’s call,
But sought a delay, the best for all.
A chance for the Highlands to catch the stride,
Then independence, with hope held wide.
His words, a warning, a prophecy clear,
Still echo today, for all to hear.
The struggles we carry, the trials we see,
Were spoken of once, with wisdom’s plea.
His legacy lives, a beacon of light,
Guiding our people through day and night.
Sir Tei Abal with vision so bright,
Forever a flame, forever our guide.
