After ordering my PNG KUMULS hoodie, I was beyond excited. I was told to pick it up at VC, so off I went without any clue who would be delivering it, a guy or a girl? Who knew, As I waited, I spotted a young girl heading my way. This has to be her! I thought. I quickly texted the contact number, Hey, I’m here with a blue shirt, She glanced my way but kept walking. Determined, I followed her around, still texting, yet she didn’t respond. Finally, I took a leap and grabbed her bag, saying, Hey, sis, It’s me, the one who ordered the hoodie.

But to my shock, she looked at me like I was a kidnapper! Her eyes widened, and before I could blink, she took off running! 🏃🏽‍♀️💨 My heart pounded as I tried to catch up, yelling, Wait, wait! It’s a misunderstanding! But the more I tried to explain, the faster she ran. Soon, she jumped into a taxi, slammed the door shut, and zoomed off, leaving me totally stunned and embarrassed. 😳🚖💔

Defeated, I trudged back from Waigani Office to VC, frustrated beyond words. I kept thinking, How could this day get any worse? 😖 As I reached VC, I spotted a guy chilling nearby, completely relaxed, enjoying an ice cream like he didn’t have a care in the world. 🍦 He looked up, spotted me, and with a sly grin, called out, (Yu disla mangi ya, orderim Kumuls hoodie ya ah) Instantly, I lit up and sighed with relief, nodding. Yes, yes! It’s me!

The man handed over my hoodie, and I laughed at how wild my day had been! From chasing a stranger to finally getting my hands on the Kumul hoodie I’d been waiting for! 😂 As I walked away, I could still see the confused look on the girl’s face in my mind, and I just shook my head, thinking, Well, that was one for the books! 😅
