OUR STORY BACK IN PRIMARY DAYS!!

Back when I was in Grade 8 at Gabensis SDA Primary school, Mai was only in Grade 3. 😅

One night after the study period, he convinced me to sneak down to the river with him to catch fish. While we were busy fishing, the teacher came around and did a dorm check... and guess what? Both of us were missing! 🤦‍♂️😂

The next morning during assembly, they called out our names and told us to step to one side. Of course, he came and stood right next to me. 😂

Mr. Jackson Philip and Lemina Mai (his big sister and my daughter) were already smiling at us. Then Mr. Philip walked over, looked at us, and asked,

"Yutupela papa pikinini painim wanem raun long nait na absent long dorm check?" 😂😂

As soon as he finished talking, both of them burst out laughing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I quietly whispered to Mai,

"Move go longwe long mi. Yu mekim na mi kisim sem!" 🤣🤣🤣

He was my son back than, and still my son today.
