POV Madak Lasixi village

I’m sure most of you all will agree that there has never been the best experiences /feeling than coming back home and soak it in, rejuvenate and hit that reset button hard. That’s the feeling I went through when we visited home.

POV Madak Malom Kamereba station

Malom is known as one of the ideal spots for people of Tabar and Simberi group of islands, where they usually come through at this very spot with their dinghies bringing with them their local fresh produce to take into markets in town. On the other hand, Kamereba station is an oil palm estate situated in the Madak area that’s looking after all the oil palm plantations in Sentral New Ireland that normally reports back to the head office in Poliamba in the Nalik area.

POV Madak Kimadan bridge

That is the place that has a sub health centre which usually serves a lot of patients that come from all over Sentral Niu Ailan. It is situated right beside a huge river which helps a lot of the patients plus the surrounding communities. The compositions and perspectives of this place is really unique.

POV Madak Katedan village

I’m not gonna lie this place is uniquely known for some of the best white sandy beaches that stretches along the highway which if you were to fly your drone trust me you gonna get some unique perspectives /compositions, plus it has a huge river that really helps the locals.

POV Sentral Lavatbura mangroves

This community are amongst the many which are fortunate to have this mangrove system along the highway where it serves as the natural habitat of marine life which the community itself usually go and harvest protein to sustain their lives. Having the highway go through these acres of mangroves really giving it that nostalgic look or feeling one can’t seem to resist.

POV Sentral Konos station

It’s one of the hot spots and the main hub for people of Tabar and Simberi group of islands where they usually meet up with people of Sentral and having do their daily transactions, whether it be their local fresh produce or even if they want to get some supplies from Kavieng town. Additionally, Konos has its own little township where there’s few couple of shops that actually helps the locals.

POV Notsi Lidan Village

This will be one of my favourite spots along the highway where you get to see and experience firsthand how water meets the ocean; the scenes are really amazing starting all the way from Liba to Lidan. Additionally, this is a well-known spot for fishing where locals get to spend most of their time there, you’ll happen to see them if you’re driving past this area.

POV Nalik Lugagun village

I’m always intrigue by how places like this along the highway are so fortunate to be blessed with a lot of good river systems that enables them to sustain their livelihood and the communities, plus it has really good tourists’ attraction sites as well where one couldn’t resist.

POV Kara Lemendeven Laburua village

I know what you’re thinking, it’s one of the favourite spots along the highway where everybody loves to take pictures /videos of. Really amazing scenes.

POV Kara Manggai two village

I’m always at peace every time I’m travelling this highway. It’s like being in a therapy session but with nature. All this beautiful coastal villages along the highway gave it that unique compositions /perspectives. Just amazing.
