Day 3, Breakfast with a view! 🍳☕⛰️

Waking up to the cool mountain air in Santa Fe is incredible, but having breakfast with this backdrop? Unbeatable.

We fueled up on some local coffee and a great breakfast while soaking in the misty mountain views just before hitting the trail for our final hike of the trip.

A perfect end to an unforgettable couple of days exploring the highlands of Veraguas. Thanks for chasing waterfalls and mountains with us this week!

Into the green, deep into the Santa Fe jungle!

Yesterday was all about muddy boots, lush rainforest trails, and chasing some of Veraguas’ most beautiful hidden waterfalls.

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of hiking through a dense tropical canopy and suddenly standing at the base of a roaring falls. The misty spray was the perfect reward after a trek through the highlands! 🥾

Trading the Coast for the Clouds☁️⛅

Hola fellow adventurers! If you’re looking to escape the heat and see a completely different side of Panama, you have to head up into the hills of Veraguas. We just spent a couple of days exploring Santa Fe National Park, and wow... what a hidden gem.

The drive up into the mountains is half the fun—the roads wind up into the lush, green highlands, and as you get higher, the air suddenly turns beautifully cool and fresh.

We based ourselves at a fantastic local hostel right in the middle of all that green. Sitting on the grounds watching the mist roll over the peaks, you instantly feel a world away from everything.

Tomorrow, I’ll share some photos from our trek deep into the jungle to find Santa Fe's famous waterfalls. Stay tuned! 🥾🌿

Hola fellow adventurers! One of the absolute best perks of living here has to be the wild fruit. Today’s adventure was simple: walk outside, look up, and gather a basket of beautiful, ripe mangoes.

Hola fellow adventurers! We discovered a new wild, isolated beach today.
Playa de la Candelaria is a spectacular, completely untouched slice of the Pacific right here on the Azuero Peninsula. This hidden gem rewards you with kilometers of wide-open, soft brown sand and warm ocean waves completely free from the crowds. It is a wonderfully rustic, wild beach where the green coastal fields drop off right onto the shore—making it the ultimate peaceful escape for a long, solitary coastal walk and a true taste of natural Panama.
