Mt Robert Circuit, Nelson Lakes 🏔️

I’m usually not a big fan of camera bags for hiking. A lot of them feel too bulky, too heavy, or too focused on camera storage and not enough on actually walking with them for hours. So when I heard about the OnePro Ultralight line from PGYTECH, I was genuinely interested.

I’ve been using the .anz OnePro Ultralight 30L and Beetle Camera Clip on a recent trip down to the South Island, carrying my regular setup: two bodies, four lenses, and an iPad.

After using it on the trail, 10km for this circuit, I really like how light it feels for a photography-focused hiking bag. The straps are well padded, it carries comfortably on a day hike, and it still has the small things that matter outdoors, like a spot for a personal locator beacon on one strap and the Beetle Clip on the other for quick camera access.

Finding a good hiking bag is already hard. Finding one that also works well for photography is even harder. This one feels like a proper hiking bag, but built with photographers in mind.

Kudos to .anz for nailing both sides.
