✨ A little plot twist for Burnt Sugar Co at Equifest… 🐴🤎
We had everything signed, sorted and ready to go for our first stall at Equifest this year. But sometimes, being a small business means making the hard decisions behind the scenes.
Between my health, needing enough hands-on help to make the event manageable, and the huge financial gamble of stall fees, travel, and stock, it was simply too much of a risk for our little business this time around. As disappointing as it was, I had to make the call to pull out. We’re already dreaming of making it happen next year. 🤎
BUT… in the very same week, something pretty special happened. ✨
We received an order from Kerri to create a custom engraved sign for Fiber Fresh at Equifest! 🐴🌾
As a horse girl myself and someone who uses and loves their products, this was SO exciting. What a cool, unexpected way to still have a little piece of Burnt Sugar Co at an event we were so looking forward to being part of.
It was a reminder that sometimes things don’t go to plan, but other opportunities find their way to you. We might not be there in person this year, but our work will be — and that means the world to this little business. 🥹✨
