đź’Ť One thing couples often underestimate about wedding photos is how quickly the day disappears.

You spend months planning the ceremony, the dress, the flowers, the rings, the guest list and somehow, before you know it, you’re driving home as newlyweds wondering where the day went.

That’s one of the reasons I love registry weddings.

There are no elaborate timelines. No pressure to entertain 100 guests. Just two people making a commitment to each other and getting on with the next chapter of their lives. ❤️

The best photos rarely come from being told exactly where to stand or how to smile.

They happen in the moments in between.

✨ The look after the ceremony when it finally feels real.

✨ The quiet laugh when you realise you’re now husband and wife.

✨ The walk back to the car with a marriage certificate in one hand and a whole future ahead of you.

If you’re nervous about wedding photos, that’s completely normal.

Most couples I work with aren’t models and don’t spend their weekends posing in front of cameras. My job is to make the experience feel easy, natural and enjoyable so you can focus on each other rather than the camera.

For couples planning a registry wedding, what’s the one thing you’re most looking forward to once all the formalities are over?

The long weekend gave me some time off! Too bad the weather wasn’t its usual beautiful self. But I made it work.

If you’ve ever wondered what photographers do on their days off, it’s usually taking more photos.

I rented the canon r6mkiii and the canon 15-30mm lens from and they are now in my “needs” wishlist. Hopefully Santa sees that I’ve been really good this year and sends them to me, or .nz has a few spares lying around for me to pick up.

This is by far the biggest comment I get before any photography session.

“I’m not very good in front of the camera” or “I don’t look good in photos”

First of all, that’s nonsense! Everyone can look good in photos, the secret is to stop performing and just let go.

If you haven’t been in front of the camera very often, you’re not going to nail the poses straight away, but your photographer can help ease you into it and give you something to do rather than posing.

I prefer to give my couples something to do with each other, which takes the focus off the camera and more about you two.

A little piece of New Zealand to take home 🇳🇿❤️

This lovely couple travelled all the way from Germany and wanted to capture their final days together in New Zealand before heading home. There’s something pretty special about being trusted to freeze a moment like that in time. Not just photos of where you were, but photos of how it felt to be here together.

One thing I always hear before a couples session is: “We’re awkward in photos.” Truth is, almost everyone says that. My job isn’t to make you stand in stiff poses and stare at the camera all afternoon.

I keep sessions relaxed, easy and fun. I’ve got heaps of simple prompts and natural poses that get real reactions, real laughs, and genuine moments between you both. Most of the time you’re just hanging out together while I guide things along. Minimal effort from you, candid moments that actually feel like you.

The best photos usually happen in between the poses anyway.

DM me if you’d love some memories captured with your favourite person 📸

When your travels around New Zealand come to an end, what better way to do a couples photoshoot!

These two love birds had been travelling around New Zealand for the past 6 months and were leaving to go back to Germany 3 days after this shoot.

They were definitely sad to go! But at least they got some lovely photos together to remember this beautiful country.

Let me capture your love story in a fun and easy way. It doesn’t take you long before you’re comfortable in front of my lens.

I’ve been told that you have to do BTS to show yourself in action to help viewers see who you are.

So here you go! BTS of my back getting some amazing shots of and his amazing physique!

Keith was blown away with the photos he got in the gym. Each shot straight out of camera was fire 🔥

Men’s health meets Life in Style Photography.

Recently shot a fitness session with a and went for a Men’s Health magazine style look. Black and white edits, strong light, clean detail, and a focus on shape and presence.

Sometimes colour can distract from what’s actually there. Black and white keeps it honest and puts the attention back on the hard work.

Perfect for trainers, athletes, or anyone wanting sharp content that looks professional and has a bit more edge than the usual gym photo.

If you’ve been putting in the work, it might be time to show it properly. DM to book.
