We had a really fun photo shoot with Captured By Bayley a few weeks ago. We thought we'd start sharing some of the cool individual shots she took.
When Bayley asked for period correct props for the session she asked if we knew anyone who had a keytar. Of course, we do. Introducing our man Scott on keys and vocals, aka Scotty Fast Fingers. The musical star with the blazing keytar!

Southern Worm Farms was such a cool project for my husband and I, the faces behind M Digital Studio, to work on.

The website and photography tied in really nicely with what we’re both about through Captured By Bayley and M Digital Studio. Supporting local businesses, looking at more sustainable ways of doing things, and finding ways to make a positive impact on our environment.

It was awesome being able to bring both of our skill sets together and create something that actually has a purpose behind it.

Anyway, look at us go. Website? ✔️ Photos? ✔️ Worms? ✔️ Sustainability? ✔️

We’re basically unstoppable. 😂🪱🌱

What an incredible night to wrap up Guitar Legends at RIFF - Live Music Venue ! The Southland Musicians Club absolutely delivered and I had a blast capturing every moment. What a night!

Still thinking about how good Shapeshifter was at Civic Theatre 🔥

The whole place was buzzing from the second they walked on stage. So many cool moments to capture, crazy lighting, huge crowd energy, and honestly just such a fun night to be part of.

at the Civic Theatre tonight was honestly such a wild night 🔥

The crowd went hard, the whole place was buzzing, and getting to see some of it from backstage made it even cooler. Too many good moments not to throw together a reel from the night.

Massive energy from start to finish and such a cool one to shoot 🎶

The Te Whare family 🤍

This session was one of those “trust the process” moments. We shifted times, watched the weather like hawks, and hoped the beach would give us a break… and it did.

Soft, neutral tones, a wide open coastline, and a stunning whānau who made it all feel effortless. Sometimes the best shoots are the ones you almost have to fight for.

Beach family photography sessions like this are always worth the wait.

P.S. Anyone who wants to take some photos out here, pack bug spray...

Yes, this one’s a little delayed. My back had other ideas, and over the long weekend my husband and I got stuck into home renos… six trips to Mitre 10 later, here we are.

But, finally, here are some of my favourite moments from Blindspott on the night. Absolute power on stage, tight as ever, and a crowd that gave it right back.

More to come, but these are the ones that stuck with me first.
