I photograph birth because I believe witnessing women in their power is a deeply sacred thing.
These images matter.

To witness women remembering their power in a world that has taught them to fear it.
To document birth not as something to be feared or controlled, but as something ancient, instinctive, and sacred.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is quiet rebellion in images like these.
In showing women following their bodies.
Midwives protecting space instead of imposing upon it.
Birth unfolding in softness, strength, and surrender.
Photography becomes preservation. Proof that women were always meant to hold this power.

The days are long, but the years are short. Capture this season of motherhood with a relaxed, intimate mini photoshoot designed to feel natural, effortless, and true to you.

My style is organic and unposed; soft, grainy film-inspired images with a vintage feel. No stiff poses, just genuine moments between you and your loved ones.

Although a classic “newborn” session usually happens between birth and 6 weeks of age, sessions with slightly older babies totally have my heart ❤️

I love shooting just past golden hour at the beach, when cool tones start to roll in and create shades of pink and purple. This creates the most ethereal backdrops 🤍

It really is high time for me to start sharing my work more, I have been so busy, and life has been so crazy, that I’ve hit a bit of a slow slope and put this account on the back burner despite doing many amazing shoots recently 🙆🏼‍♀️

So here is little Lottie & her dad for this lovely but chaotic winter days golden hour beach photoshoot - this family of 5 definitely kept me on my toes with all 3 kiddos running around different directions at all times haha! But after a while, the tiredness set in and it was time for a cuddle with dad, just as the light was entering that sweet spot we photographer all yearn and wait for. Good timing Lottie 😉🥰

Like so many of us, I feel the weight of the genocide every day — the grief, the helplessness, the sense that whatever I do will never be enough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So when my friends began organising this powerful fundraiser, I knew I wanted to contribute in any way I could.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sunday night was something special. A gathering of extraordinary performers who moved us to laughter and to tears — and together, we raised over $13,000.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I felt deeply honoured to witness and document the magic of the evening. Here are a few moments I captured — from behind the lens, but with a full heart. 📸❤️

Cutest wee moody beach session last Sunday with this little dude that’s turning 2 this week, happy birthday Arthur!

This was a very good example on having to think on my feet. Erin and I had aimed for a golden hour at the beach, but the winter weather had other ideas so we postponed the shoot a couple of times, and eventually decided to go ahead anyways last Sunday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But once we arrived, the tides were way too high for us to access the beach! So we took a little hike. We took these cute photos in the sand dunes overlooking the beach, and then wandered through the shoreline. Eventually finding several beautiful spot and luckily, being able to reach a little cove of sand just as the sun was about to go behind the horizon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mission successful, and this little trooper sported a friendly smile the whole time, zero complaints!

Overcast weather does make for the best lighting 🥰🤭
