Birth ~
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or the reason as to why I became a photographer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I photograph birth because I believe witnessing women in their power is a deeply sacred thing.
These images matter.
To witness women remembering their power in a world that has taught them to fear it.
To document birth not as something to be feared or controlled, but as something ancient, instinctive, and sacred.

There is quiet rebellion in images like these.
In showing women following their bodies.
Midwives protecting space instead of imposing upon it.
Birth unfolding in softness, strength, and surrender.
Photography becomes preservation. Proof that women were always meant to hold this power.

So deeply honoured to have witnessed Leah’s gentle, powerful entrance into motherhood and for her blessings to share these with the world 🤍
