Not knowing what the camera will capture when I click the shutter.

Not knowing how the light will move as I move too.

Not knowing what colours will appear, will they blend a little?

It's all part of the process, and that's what keeps it interesting.

Most people look to recognise something.

I look to feel something.

When I move my camera, I'm not trying to capture exactly what's in front of me as you would traditionally. I'm chasing the light, colour, movement, and spontaneity that can't be repeated.

Sometimes the most beautiful images appear when you stop trying to control the outcome.

Let curiosity lead the way. ✨

This image began with a simple question: What if...?

Water, shiny objects, food colouring and bubbles all came together in the kitchen sink before I moved with my camera. I never know exactly what the final image will look like, and that's part of the joy. Curiosity has a way of leading you somewhere unexpected.

Sometimes the best creations happen when you stop trying to control the outcome and simply explore.

I'm enjoying the softness in these series of Images & will revisit this subjectmatter again.

A streak of colour through the dark.

It feels fast, electric, and a little cosmic.

I captured this image back in 2021 using the camera technique of Intentional Camera Movement also known as ICM Photography.

I duplicated, layered & rotated them in Photoshop, possibly used a filter too considering it was back in 2021 I can't quite remember the order of the process.

Like candy floss skies and lollipops made of light.

Soft, bright, and impossible not to smile at.

I moved the camera and let the light do what it wanted.

I wasn’t chasing a subject just the feeling of joy.

And this is what it looked like when I let it run wild.
