Saturday really threw everything at us 🌧️

Billie and Lindsay tied the knot at Butchers Dam, with the weather turning so wild mid ceremony that we were this close 🤏🏼to getting hailed on.

But they kept on keeping on, got through the ceremony, then zipped off to Lindsay’s parents’ place to warm up in front of the fire with a few well earned drinks in hand before the reception.

Eventually the rain eased, the clouds opened and the sun slipped through at just the right moment. We quickly ducked back outside and grabbed this shot!

There’s probably a pretty good marriage analogy in there somewhere. Weathering the storms together, keeping each other warm when things get a bit rough, trust that eventually the clouds will part and the sun will find its way through again. 🤍

Congratulations Billie + Lindsay. If Saturday was anything to go by, I reckon you two can handle whatever “weather” comes your way! 🥰 x

The first half of 2026 has been a blast with gorgeous elopements, weddings, and beautiful family adventures. Paint and Sip events have been few and far between, but the ones I’ve managed to find time for, have been a hoot! 🤍

For the next six weeks, I’m officially out of office on the first proper holiday my partner Linden and I have had in over four years 🫢 We’ve worked hard, and now it’s time to be a little bit selfish!

When I return, the second half of 2026 is already shaping up to be a fun one. Photographing engagements, weddings, and families; my bread and butter! 🥖🧈

I’ve also got a few personal creative goals bubbling away in the background too. More time for painting, printing some of my own photographic work, creating art just for the joy of it, and running more paint and sip events around Central Otago. It feels like a pretty exciting season ahead!

You’re still more than welcome to message me, make bookings, and send through enquiries while I’m away! I’ll be in a different time zone, but still checking in every few days 🥰
