A stunning but chilly morning out at the Kustom Breakfast today 🚗❄️☀️

This month's feature was modified British cars, and there were some incredible vehicles on display. From classic styling to creative modifications, there was plenty to admire as we wandered around taking it all in.

The cold start was soon forgotten thanks to a delicious bacon and egg buttie, which provided the perfect fuel to explore the event and photograph some of the amazing cars. It was also fantastic to see such a great turnout from the Holden Club of Canterbury, with 9 club cars making the trip along.

Mornings like this are why I love to capture the details, create memories through my lens, and cherish the friendships and community that make these events so special. 💛📸

A stunning day out at the monthly classic car show at Leithfield Better Half Kitchen & Bar 🚗☀️

The turnout was incredible, with a wide array of amazing vehicles on display. Everywhere you looked there was polished chrome, gleaming paintwork, and plenty of proud owners sharing their passion for their cars. It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout from the Holden Club of Canterbury too.

Of course, no morning out is complete without a good coffee, and with beautiful cars, great company, and sunshine, it made for a perfect day.

Days like this remind me why I love to capture the details, create lasting memories through my photography, and cherish the wonderful community that surrounds these events. 💛📸

A Callum day at work for me today, and with a few changes to our usual routine we ended up spending the afternoon at Willowbank 🌿📸

It turned into such a lovely day exploring the native animals. I finally managed to capture a shot I’ve been trying to get for ages—ducks flapping their wings in perfect motion! We were also amazed at just how close we got to the kea, such incredible birds with so much personality.

Days like this remind me why I love to capture the unexpected moments, create memories through my lens, and cherish the simple adventures that become special memories. 💛✨

This semester I’ve been working through two papers to complete my Diploma of Photography through SIT 📸✨

This is the final assignment for one of those papers—a series of five images titled Luminance in Motion. It was definitely a challenge to create a body of work that felt unified through composition, colour, and lighting, while still allowing each image to stand strongly on its own.

The process pushed me creatively and technically, but I’m proud of how the series came together. Projects like this remind me why I love to capture ideas, create with intention, and cherish the journey of learning and growing as a photographer. 💛

A frosty start this morning, but what a reward—gorgeous sunrise and a full moon lighting the way as we headed out to meet the Holden Club of Canterbury before cruising to the Kustom Breakfast 🚗🌅🌕

This month’s feature was cars from the 60s and 70s, and they did not disappoint—though, as always, every car on display was something special. A delicious bacon buttie and a hot chocolate helped keep the chill at bay while I wandered around capturing some truly stunning vehicles.

Mornings like this are what it’s all about—to capture the beauty, create lasting memories, and cherish the moments shared with a great community. 💛📸

Sunday saw the Holden Club of Canterbury gather at the Tai Tapu Pub for our annual prizegiving and lunch 🚗🏆

Every car in the Show & Shine received a prize—well deserved, because the standard was exceptional across the board. What fascinated me most, though, was the rich history behind the trophies themselves. Some have been around for many years, and it seemed every single one carried its own special story.

Finished off with another fabulous meal at the Tai Tapu Pub—great food and fantastic value as always. Days like this remind me why I love to capture the details, create memories with such an incredible community, and cherish the history and stories that come with it all. 💛📸
