Crafted from recycled rimu wood salvaged during the restoration of Paradise House, a historic homestead near Glenorchy, New Zealand, these blocks hold a story worth sharing.

Paradise House, built in the late 19th century, welcomed explorers seeking the beauty of New Zealand’s remote wilderness. After decades of hosting guests, it was lovingly restored in 2008, preserving its legacy for future generations—until a fire sadly ended its chapter.

But history doesn't end where flames fall.

By repurposing this 127-year-old timber, these art blocks breathe new life into a piece of New Zealand’s past, embodying ecofeminist values that honour sustainability and Mother Earth. Each block connects you to the rich heritage and natural beauty of the land, transforming what could have been lost into a timeless piece of art.
