Following on from our bridal collection, we turn our focus to the groom's korowai — a piece that carries its own story, presence, and mana.
Handcrafted by Trish Todd, each korowai is created with deep respect for tikanga, heritage, and the generations that came before.
Every stitch, feather, and detail is carefully placed, transforming each piece into more than something to be worn. It becomes a reflection of identity, connection, and pride.
Before leaving Trish's hands, every korowai is blessed, carrying with it the intention and aroha woven into its creation.
Against the powerful backdrop of Piha, the groom's korowai stood strong amongst the black sand, rugged cliffs, and relentless ocean. A fitting reminder that true strength is not only found in the landscape around us, but also in the traditions, stories, and culture we carry forward.
A korowai is more than a garment. It is a connection to whakapapa. A symbol of honour. A legacy to be treasured for generations.
