The 67th Shey Festival | Dolpo Vlog Series – 03
Meanwhile, Tulku Chime Tsewang, Dr. Norbu, Sir Pema Gojor, and Chemi Tsewang were also waiting for me in Nepalgunj. From there, we began our journey together toward Dunai, the gateway to Dolpo.
In Episode 03, we continue our journey from Episode 02, travelling through the scenic landscapes of Rukum and Jajarkot toward Dolpa. Along the way, we experience breathtaking views, challenging roads, and the famous bumpy journey that travellers have to face on this route.
I had travelled this route before, and I remember how difficult it was. But this time, travelling with such wonderful people made the journey completely different. Despite the rough roads and long hours, we had a great time together, sharing stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Our journey together came to an end in Dunai, where we went our separate ways. Looking back, it was truly one of the best journeys I have ever experienced.
After reaching Dunai, I had already arranged a place to stay at Dolpo Bon School. Meanwhile, Khenpo, the teachers, villagers, and students were preparing to warmly welcome His Eminence Menri Ponlob Rinpoche.
