On our way to Vegas we stopped somewhere between and . There, in the middle of the desert, a fence was separating these homes from the gas station and that's all there was as far as eye can see. I wonder what the people living there are doing Are they just those working at the gas station? What kind of people actually live there? I should have tried to find out, ask... next time... Maybe. .app

In this was the road accross pineapple fields we were taking everyday to walk to Higashi village in order to eat. I absolutely loved that place, it was almost nobody around and the few people we met were nothing but lovely.

The building is not a specialty pretty one per say and the picture is nothing impressive but it is the view we had from the flat of my friend K in and it illustrates one of the things I found fun in : To recognize places that had been used in . I didn't recognize that one at first but K reminded me of that fun movie this very building was used to shoot some of the last scenes. Do you know which movie it is?

Kobayashi San is the owner and only bartender of JBS Bar in , . Located up in a building on Dogenzaka 1, you have to know about it to find it, there's no stumbling upon that gem unless of course you know someone who lives in the building and even then, nothing really tells you about it, maybe a sticker somewhere on the door but that's it. Inside, a small room is split in 2, half the bar and half tables for the guests and the walls are litteraly covered with on shelves, 10000 if I believe the review made by the vinylfactory.com (https://thevinylfactory.com/features/jbs-jazz-bar-a-vinyl-sanctuary-in-the-midst-of-tokyo/) I personally didn't count them but it definitely looks like a lot. A dark yet cozy atmosphere meant especially to let you enjoy the while sipping on a nice . Kobayashi San changes records and makes drinks, that's it. From what I could see, he's not the kind of bartender you would lay your problems on or seek advice from. However, anyone fond of Jazz/Blues/Soul should pass by so long as they can be respectful of the concept intended. @ Shibuya, Tokyo
