Clouds over the dunes
There's only one reason to visit Hirtshals in the winter: The ferry home to Norway departes from there. But Hirtshals have the same magical light you find in Skagen. So if you dress well to stand against the icing wind, a little walk on the beach is worth it, even in the winter.

View from cabin just before sunset

Quite windy and the clouds keep rolling in. While I sit and wait for the long exposure to capture the water the sky changes rapidly. It will be a short and extreme sunset, I might have time for just one more exposure...

Blue clouds over the quiet Oslo Fjord

Today was a nice day with fine weather, but the clouds came down in the evening. For a cloud seeker like me, it was a sign to grab that camera and take a hike along the the shores of the Oslo Fjord.

The sunset is still an hour away, but the gap in the clouds along the horizon, tells me that it will be a short but extreme sunset... stay tuned ;)
