I was recently tasked with reshooting a brand for homemade soap products, aiming to boost sales, inspire customers, and enhance the visual communication on their website.
The goal was to create a fresh, modern, and visually appealing impact. During the creative process, I embraced a minimalistic approach, using soft-colored backgrounds to highlight the soaps' shapes and colors, ensuring consistency across all elements.
Prop shopping was both fun and challenging—I hunted for pieces that would add texture, dimension, and interest to the photos. With a well-planned props list, color palette, and moodboard in hand, I stayed focused on the vision and avoided the temptation to overbuy (which, let’s be honest, can be a bit too easy for us!).
On the day of the shoot, it was all about experimenting with textures, colors, and shapes to craft images that captivate and inspire. I even had the chance to be a hand model for some shots!
