What do we consider real?
Our eyes observe refracting light
morphed into visual perception,
a distorted substitute of existence.
An afterimage of something real, or images that don't exist at all.
Even water, the most basic of phenomena,
becomes fragmented imagination,
a shadow of a hidden reality.
