Got to spend a very warm afternoon with dearest Kim & Haenee for their engagement session in Rotterdam yesterday. 💍🤍

I loved working with them and getting to know their story. It was a sweet session filled with sunshine, slow waters, ducks on the pond, genuine love & cloudy blue skies.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Athan & Caitlin for the past 2 years. And the more I get to know them, the deeper my love and respect grows for them. They are such a sweet couple who encourages each other, they help to build each other’s dreams and just love the other one in such a kind & selfless way.

Thinking of this session so frequently. Last August. What started out as a sunny Summer’s day (with a only a few clouds overhead), quickly evolved into this magical rain&sun combo, giving The Notebook vibes. 🕊️💦

Spontaneously, all 3 of us ran into to the rain to capture this moment!

This was a magical engagement session - and I absolutely love it when clients are so keen to brace the elements!! 😉

Caitlyn and I spoke for the first time via DM’s last July.
She was so kind and generous with her time in replying to the messages of a total stranger.

I can still remember that she started following from some reel I posted about location scouting, doing my voice-over in a VERY Afrikaans-English accent. At this time - my account did not even have 500 friends.

A while ago - I celebrated that one thousand of you are following along and launched a competition. Caitlyn and Erwin won.

What a full circle moment for me personally.

To meet someone in the online world and meeting them in person. I loved meeting her! She shines. Beautiful - inside and out! 🤍
Caitlyn and Erwin are both such kind people - who know and love each other in their detail.

We had a couple session a week ago and were truly blessed with the wonderful weather after a long winter.

I’m not writing this for any other reason as to celebrate this thing I get to do. These people, like Caitlyn and Erwin, I get to meet. My heart grows fuller each time I get to encounter beautiful souls, who I did not know before.
