This floor painting was made for a small hostel on the tropical Island Cay Caulker just off the coast of Belize.

I came here to do a wall piece but for some reason the laws had just changed and it stated that all hostels had to paint the floors of their dorms. I'm not sure why exactly but because of this I was asked to do a floor instead. It was a shiny concrete floor which looked really cool already so i decided to only paint a part of it but still make it look like there was a full piece of art on the floor. Since I myself was on an adventures journey I thought a map would be an appropriate choice, leaving the ocean parts unpainted so that the concrete would become the water and we would still have it's beautiful looks.

It took me somewhat like a week, in staggering heat and being under non stop attack of moskitos and other unknown, biting insects. Also there was only one hardware store on the island with a very limited assortment of paint so I had to improvise a lot but this only added some charm on the project.

I had a very good time here, was very well appreciated and the first WallDizzy floorpainting is now a fact, if you want to see it for real you're in for a nice tropical holiday in the Caribbean ;).

A tribute to the land that stole my heart, the magical Mexico, and to the powerful feminine energy that is arising. Colors express my feeling better than words. The wonder that is left in my eye is priceless and with this image I try to do it justice but that's almost impossible.
It's my way of saying thank you Mexico. Thanks to all the people that made me feel so welcome and all the amazing travelers I met along the way. I left with a tear in my eye but I will be back for sure. This country will never leave my heart again. Muchos gracias!

Special thanks to Ramon, who gave me the opportunity to make this piece in his beautiful surfcamp and also offered me Spanish lessons that where really needed ;).

Gracias Ramon and Experiencia!

Hasta Luego!

The smallest mural so far in one of the smallest (yet coolest) houses I have ever seen.

This little house on wheels is the home of a beautiful little family I met in Mexico. Shanty, Matu, their daughter Zaina (8) and Martha the happy little dog. Traveling for over ten years they crossed all the way trough South America to Central America, aiming for eventually Alaska.

They adopted me for a couple of days and in exchange I made them a tiny mural. It's a nopal cactus, symbolic for Mexico, with four flowers one it, one for each family member.
