Creating this artwork took me back to my teenage years, when me and my sister traveled between islands to explore and meet for the first time family, also this pictures were made by me with my little digital camera back then, you can tell photography was already a passion of mine. (August 2012), of course there is more about this artwork then just the trip, it embodies embracing new ways into the unknown and the curiosity of finding yourself through other lenses.
Sometimes in order for us to grow we need to let go of the weight and sink to the ground only to emerge into the beauty that is tomorrow.

This art work is a connection, a step or a moment of realization of who I am/was perceived as and who I truly am, it embodies my critical thinking and the balance between my visual and critical thinking and my realistic logic “non existent” side ahah 😅😂
As a kid I’ve struggled so much to understand the concept of time, still to this day I can’t understand the notion of time even tho I learned how to deal with this feeling,
Time is an illusion that blurs my brain.
