Some men won't listen until life teaches them the hard way
Maybe it's just me, but I've never understood why some people organize a public proposal before getting to know, they will kneel down
Only for the lady to say...
"No."
That's exactly what happened in a video I watch from UNIPORT, where a young man was trying to proposed to his girlfriend in public and got rejected
Now before anybody att@cks the lady, let's be honest
A proposal should not be the first time you're finding out whether a woman wants to marry you
The proposal should be a celebration of a decision both of you have already discussed
Not a surprise examination where you are hoping to pass
Because once you involve a crowd, you also involve embarrassment if things go wrong
The pa!nful part is that some men mistake dating for commitment
Just because she's your girlfriend doesn't automatically mean she's ready to become your wife
And just because you've spent money on a relationship doesn't mean she's obligated to say Yes
That said, I genuinely feel for the guy
It takes courage to put your heart on the line like that
Unfortunately, not every love story ends the way we imagine
But maybe there's a lesson here
Before planning the proposal, make sure you've had the conversation
Before buying the ring, know where you stand
Before kneeling publicly, get clarity privately
Because heartbrΒ£ak is pa!nful enough
Adding an audience makes it even w0rse
To the Ladies
If you know you won't accept a proposal, would you rather tell him beforehand or wait until the moment he asks?
And men, would you ever attempt a public proposal without first knowing the answer?
Let's get to know
