Easter Vigil – The Night of All Nights
This is the night when darkness is broken.
The night when silence gives way to victory.
The night when death loses its hold.
We begin in darkness…
A single flame is lit.
And slowly, that light spreads
from candle to candle,
from heart to heart.
This is how God works.
Not with noise,
but with light.
Not with force,
but with life rising quietly from the tomb.
Tonight, the Church keeps watch.
We listen to the story of salvation
from creation, to promise, to fulfillment.
And then it happens…
“Alleluia!” returns.
The tomb is no longer closed.
Christ is risen.
And with Him
hope rises,
faith rises,
you rise.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
on this holy night,
enter the dark places of my life.
Where there is fear, bring Your light.
Where there is doubt, awaken faith.
Where there is death, speak life again.
As Your resurrection breaks the silence of the tomb,
let it also break every heaviness in my heart.
I receive Your light.
I walk in Your victory.
Amen.
