DISPARAGING: NASFAT SENDS CAUTION TO CLERICS, MUSLIMS

The pace-setting global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has cautioned Muslims and clerics worldwide against the un-Islamic act of disparaging the noble companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

NASFAT emphasized that Islam, as established in the Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah, commands complete obedience to Allah and His Messenger (SAW) and mandates love, respect, and honor for his companions (Sahabah – may Allah be pleased with them all). These noble companions were the pioneers of Islam, defenders of faith, preservers of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and transmitters of the religion to future generations.

The Society declared unequivocally that abusing, hating, or slandering the Sahabah is un-Islamic and forbidden, with rulings ranging from grievous sin and hypocrisy to outright disbelief. Respected Islamic scholars throughout history have unanimously described such actions as a sign of great spiritual loss and deviation.

Quoting authentic narrations, NASFAT reminded Muslims of the Prophet’s saying:
“The Ansaar: no one loves them but a believer and no one hates them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah will love him, and whoever hates them, Allah will hate him.” (Bukhari 3672; Muslim 75).

Classical scholars, including Imam Ahmad, Imam al-Tahhaawi, Abu Zar’ah al-Raazi, and Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, all warned that maligning the companions shakes the very foundation of Islam. To demean them is to question the transmission of the Qur’an and Sunnah, an act that borders on disbelief.

According to NASFAT, loving the companions is part of faith (iman), while hating them is a mark of hypocrisy and kufr. Allah Himself praised the Sahabah in the Qur’an, affirming His pleasure with them. Thus, no Muslim should harbor hatred or grudges against those whom Allah and His Messenger honored.

The Society therefore calls on:

Clerics and scholars to guard their pulpits and teachings from divisive rhetoric against the Sahabah.

Muslims worldwide to strengthen their faith by loving and respecting both the Prophet’s family (Ahlul-Bayt) and his companions.

The Ummah at large to focus on unity, righteous deeds, and teachings that benefit both worldly and spiritual life.

NASFAT concluded by reaffirming its mission as a global beacon of Islamic guidance, reminding all Muslims that salvation lies in adherence to the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the example of the righteous predecessors (Salaf-us-Salih), whose way was built on love and respect for the Prophet and his companions.

COVER THEM UP INSTEAD OF EXPOSiNG THEM

After I had cleaned and tidied up my house, my brother phoned me and said, "My wife and I are coming to visit you."

I went to my kitchen to prepare something for them, but I could not find anything available to serve them.

After much thought and search, all I could lay my hands on were a few oranges. Therefore, I made two cups of cold juice immediately.

When my brother and his wife arrived I was shocked to see his mother in-law with them, who came to visit us for the first time.

So I served the two cups of juice to his wife and her mother, and I placed a cup of water in front of my brother, saying, 'I know that you like 7Up.
*(WiSDOM)*

He drank a sip and realized that it was water.

And suddenly his mother in-law said, I am feeling tasty for *7Up.* Please give it to me!

Here I was, baffled and caught up with embarrassment. *(FEAR)*

But my brother saved me by saying to her, 'I will bring you a clean glass from the kitchen.

After a while we heard the sound of a glass breaking in the kitchen. He then came back and told his mother in-law, 'Sorry, it fell from my hands and the glass got broken. But no problem, I will go to the shop to get another one.

His mother in-law refused and said, "There is no need for that. It was not meant for me anyway.

Eventually when they were going, my brother bid me farewell and placed some money into my hand and said, "Don't forget to clean the kitchen of the 7Up so that ants do not come." And he bid me farewell with a smile and love.

In this way, my brother considered my feelings and concealed my shortcoming.
