God’s Unchanging Pattern in a Changing World Part 2

In *Genesis 1:27 (NLT), the Bible clearly states that God created human beings in His image, **male and female*. This shows that from the very beginning, God intentionally designed humanity with two distinct genders. Each gender reflects God's image in unique ways and carries particular strengths and characteristics.

Generally, men tend to approach situations with a strong focus on *solutions, structure, and practical outcomes, while women often express deep **emotional awareness, care, and nurturing love. These differences are not weaknesses but **complementary gifts* placed within humanity by God. When properly understood, they enrich relationships, families, and communities.

Problems often arise when people try to *erase or force one gender to function exactly like the other. God did not create male and female to compete or imitate each other, but to **complement and support one another. Recognizing and respecting the uniqueness of each gender helps build **mutual understanding, harmony, and peace*.

In a world that is constantly changing its views about identity and roles, God's design remains *unchanging and purposeful. When men and women appreciate their God-given differences and learn to understand each other's strengths, they can live together in **balance, respect, and unity*, reflecting the wisdom of the Creator.

God's Unchanging Pattern in a Changing World

Genesis 1:27 (NLT):
So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

In a world where many have decided to alter the pattern of God due to advancement in technology and increasing knowledge in the world, Living and understanding Chrsitian values are silently becoming blurry and lacks direction and clarity again specifically in the area of gender issues, the truth remains that for every matter, the bible remains the believer manual and standard of living in a perversed generation.

The bible says in Genesis 1:27 that male and female created he them, no matter the deviance and aggressiveness of the LGBTQ syndrome overtaking some countries of the world gradually and gaining grounds gradually in the world system, the simple truth remains that God remains clear and explicit over His creations on earth, He created them male and female, not male & male nor female & female. Do not be deceived by the changing tide; be assured that the foundation of God remains strong and solid.

*REST AND WORK – GOD’S DIVINE BALANCE (Exodus 20:8–11)*

In Exodus 20:8–11, God commands His people to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. This instruction reveals a divine rhythm: six days are given for labour, and one day is set apart for rest.

God desires that our time should not be wasted. The six days are meant for diligent, productive work. Every moment is a gift and should be used responsibly for meaningful and fruitful activity. Laziness and disorder are not part of God’s design.

At the same time, God calls man to rest. No matter how demanding our work may be, it must fit within the six days He has appointed. The Sabbath principle reminds us that work must not replace worship, family, and fellowship. God desires that families have intentional time to build relationships, strengthen bonds, and grow spiritually together.

Work faithfully. Rest intentionally. Honour God in both.

A Certain Man

The parable of the prodigal son was never recorded merely to inform us, but to instruct us in the wisdom of God. Jesus Himself chose to tell this story, and in doing so He revealed something unshakably true: before the prodigal ever wandered, there was a certain Man—a Father whose identity was fixed, steady, and sure.

The son’s folly did not diminish the Father’s nature. His rebellion did not rewrite the Father’s character. Though the child behaved foolishly, the Father remained certain—unchanging in love, unwavering in compassion, constant in His readiness to receive, restore, and redeem.

Our instability never alters His stability. Our wandering never weakens His faithfulness. Before our failures, after our failures, and in spite of our failures, the Father remains who He has always been: certain, constant, and unchanging.

Simplicity and Servanthood

Jude had every right to introduce himself as the brother of Jesus—but he refused. Instead, he chose the humble title, a servant of Jesus Christ. He stepped out of the spotlight so that Christ alone would be seen.

Jude’s choice teaches us a vital truth:
We are not called to draw attention to ourselves.
We are not to gather crowds around our personality or position.
Our only call is to point people to Christ, not to ourselves.

Simplicity protects our hearts.
Humility protects the message.
Servanthood keeps Christ at the center.

Like Jude, may we choose the lower place, the simple identity, the quiet strength of those who serve. And may our lives make one thing clear:
Jesus—not us—is the focus, the message, and the glory.

My Personal Appeal to My Generation,

Your passion and zeal for the Kingdom are truly worth celebrating. You’ve achieved undeniable victories, and your great works speak volumes. We see you, and we honor you for that. But in all our battles—whether in secret or in public victories—let’s be careful never to rise against the Lord’s anointed, even when we witness their fall or easily perceive their weaknesses.

Just because we may be behind the scenes, aware of what’s happening, doesn’t give us the right to “slay the king.” Our generation, at times, fails to grasp the importance of not focusing on the faults of those who have gone before us. If we’re going to be victorious in future battles—and not end up as casualties in the war against the kingdom of darkness—we must understand how critical it is to cover one another’s weaknesses. After all, **none of us have arrived at perfection yet**.

Think about it—how do we expect to grow a generation that’s anointed but has an **uncultured tongue**? A generation with great spiritual power but no discipline in how we speak? That’s dangerous. We must learn to balance our authority with maturity, especially when it comes to how we talk about one another.

We all belong to one Kingdom. Some may have fallen, but it’s not our place to tear them down with harsh or unkind words. The truth is, we are all still **works in progress**.

Let’s be wise, gracious, and stand together, knowing we are all still on this journey. No one has arrived at perfection yet.

Blessings,
Sunday Bamigbose.

In the Garden
Genesis 2:8 - "And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed."

The creation of man was not an arbitrary act by the Lord. Rather, it was carried out with a clear purpose and intention. Though man was the last in the sequence of creation, he was endowed with a great mandate to subdue, dominate, replenish, be fruitful, and fill the earth.

This authority given by the Lord implies freedom, but not an unrestricted one. Man could move freely in any direction and as far as possible, but his authority had a defined jurisdiction. There are invisible borders that guide the actions of those who genuinely belong to Him. The plan was never for unrestricted freedom. The concept of a ranch illustrates that everyone, although empowered and authorized by the Lord, was never meant to wield authority independently.

This idea conflicts with the desires of many who resist remaining within the boundaries set by the Lord's garden. Such individuals hold exploration in high regard, much like Esau, unaware that those who refuse to stay within the garden's limits ultimately become insignificant.

You are not meant to be without boundaries!
He does not permit unrestricted freedom!
He keeps all whom He loves within the garden!
Return to the ranch!
