Omotayo Kofoworola
Visual Story-teller, Nigeria

Omotayo Kofoworola is a graduate of Philosophy from the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria. He is a visual story-teller, graphic arts pro, social media influencer and a technology buff.

Kofoworola is the CEO of Kofoshotit Studios where he documents social life and creates images for posterity. He is the Lead Photographer for ConnectNigeria.com a digital library for Nigeria businesses.

Kofoworola is also the social media strategist of Footprints of David, co-founder of the i-Read Community Book Club, BarigaTV and Inside Bariga.

Kofoworola has assiduously worked with an incredible team of two to start Àbáláyé Nigeria a platform created to educate and promote Yoruba Cultural heritage.

He has participated in designing the Creatives for the Nigeria wing during a collaboration with an art space Duesseldorf Germany through footprints of David.

Kofoworola's approach has always been building a better life for all. He has collaborated on several humanitarian projects in the areas of cultural advancement, indigenous language promotion and community development.

Money that can even buy a girl monthly pad... You gerrit, if you don't gerrit read the next paragraphs.

Menstrual Hygiene and the myth surrounding it is one topic that needs to be emphasized to our girls without holding back few words.

Yesterday with of was at the Give a Girl Initiative of .oafoundation at Igbo Owu Junior and Senior Secondary School, Mushin on the need to not be ashamed of their menstruation cycle (as it is natural something).

It was an eye opening event for me even as a male and a photographer at the event (as there is a lot of work to do on our girls) come and see the expression on the girl's face when the facilitator mention Tampon and Menstrual cup with how they can be used (even for senior secondary school). It shows how the extra-curricular activities such as swimming has not really being part of what they do.

I do hope it gets better.

I heard a sitting governor in Nigeria said that ₦500 will be given to any pregnant woman that delivers in a government owned hospitals in his state.... And you said we should keep respecting this kind of clueless elders...
