Yesterday Sunday 24/05/2026, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, alongside other delegations of the Safe Corridor Programme — a programme introduced by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State — paid a special visit to the Kano State Corporate Security Institute located in Gabasawa.
The visit is part of preparations for the reformation, rehabilitation, and reintegration programme for over one thousand repentant thugs as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to combat thuggery, political violence, and related social crimes across Kano State.
