😳💔Cameroonian man shares a shocking story;

“I am not telling this story to get pity.
I am telling it because this pain is real.

I married my wife with a clean heart.
I loved her genuinely.
I trusted her completely.

When I traveled to Europe, life was not easy.
People think once you reach Europe, money grows on trees. That is a lie.
I suffered. I worked like a machine.

Jobs that broke my back.
Jobs that paid little but drained everything from me.
I slept late and woke up early.
Sometimes I ate once a day.
Sometimes I cried alone in my room.

But I kept going because I had one goal — to bring my wife to Europe so we could build a better life together.

I did everything the right way:
Legal papers.
Marriage documents.
Immigration forms.
Lawyers’ fees.
Endless appointments.

Every money I made went into that process.
I denied myself clothes, enjoyment, happiness — just so she could come.

When her visa was finally approved, I felt like a king.
I was proud.
I felt like a real man.
I told everyone, “My wife is coming.”

I imagined peace, love, family, growth.

The day she arrived, I was so happy I almost cried at the airport.
I carried her bags like treasure.
I showed her everything.

I gave her my house — the same house I struggled to pay rent for.
I registered things jointly.
I introduced her to my friends.
I helped her settle in.
I supported her emotionally and financially.

But slowly… things changed.

Europe changed her.

She was no longer the woman I married back home.
She became cold.
She became proud.
She became someone I could not recognize.

She started talking to me with anger.
Everything annoyed her — my job, my money, my silence, even my breathing.
She compared me with other men and told me I was not doing enough.
She said Europe opened her eyes.
She said she deserved better.

I kept quiet because I loved her.
I thought marriage meant patience.
I thought if I tried harder, things would return to how they were.

But one day, everything ended.

There was a loud knock on the door.
When I opened it, police officers were standing there.
My heart started beating fast. I didn’t understand what was happening.

My wife stood behind them, looking calm.

They said she had reported me.
They said she had reported me.

I was shocked.
I tried to speak, but my mouth was dry.
I couldn’t understand how the same woman I suffered for could do this to me.

I was told to pack a few things and leave the house immediately.
I was warned not to come back.

That house was mine.
I paid for it.
I built my life inside it.

But I walked out like a criminal.
She stayed inside.

I stood outside with a small bag and tears I couldn’t cry.

After that day, my life became a mess.
I slept in friends’ houses.
Sometimes I slept without peace.

Shame followed me everywhere.
I stopped calling people because I didn’t know how to explain my situation.

Then the divorce papers came.
No discussion.
No apology.
No mercy.

Soon after, immigration contacted me.
My residence permit depended on my marriage.
Once the marriage was gone, my stay was gone too.

Everything I worked for collapsed.
She stayed in Europe.

I was deported.

I went back home with nothing.
Not even pride.

People said, “But you were in Europe.”
They didn’t know Europe destroyed me.

The pain was not only losing my wife.
It was losing myself.

Up till today, the question still burns inside me:
Was loving her my biggest mistake?

Don’t pity me.
Tell me your truth

FROM THE OFFICER WHO
INVESTIGATED TINUBU

How Mr. President earned my eternal respect when I investigated him in 2003. - CP Aderemi Adeoye (Rtd)

I was a Superintendent of Police and staff officer to the Inspector-General of Police That fateful day I arrived at work quite early as usual and began to draft memos on various security issues across the country that required directives from the IGP.

At about 11a.m. PSO to the IGP opened the door to our office. I looked up and saw him As I got up to pay compliments he fixed his gaze on me and said "Come".

My pen was in my hand. I picked a jotter and followed him. He passed the door to his office and headed for IGP's office.

We were ushered in immediately. IGP was alone. He looked up as we came to attention then crossed the expansive office to where he was seated.

"Adeoye" he said. "Sir" I answered and he continued. I want you to handle this investigation. He handed a petition to me and turned to the PSO. Do not contact the Governor. The investigation must be very discreet.

Ha! Governor ke? Who could that be? Done with the IGP we went to the PSO's office. He asked me to sit down and read the petition. I did.

The petition was written by one of those contesting against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who wanted to go for second term as Governor of Lagos State. Petitioner alleged that the Governor was convicted in the USA for heroine trafficking and as such was unfit to hold public office. He requested that he be disqualified from contesting the primaries for the Governoship election. The petition was addressed to the Chairman of the the Party, I think Alliance for Democracy, AD.

It was the party chairman who forwarded the petition to the IGP for investigation. He stated in his letter that the party could not risk fielding a candidate against whom such serious allegation had been raised without verifying the allegation. He feared that the party might win the election and later lose in court if the allegations turned out to be true.

In compliance with IGP's directive, we did not contact the then Governor. Within an hour my letter to the Americam Embassy was ready. A copy of the petition was attached. PSO signed for IGP. The Embassy was requested to forward same to FBI for investigation and to furnish us with a report as early as possible.

To ensure there was no leakage, I took the letter addressed to the Ambassador myself to American Embassy for despatch. Then we waited.

Two weeks later the reply arrived. A full investigation report by the FBI.

The agency stated emphatically that the then Governor of Lagos State had never been convicted of any crime in the United States and therefore had no criminal record.

It added that there was a civil forfeiture proceedings in which sum of $460,000 dollars thought to be suspicious was forfeited to US Government. The report added that on being notified of the proceedings by his American Attorney then Governor Tinubu flew into US to challenge the action. But it was too late. However about one million dollars in other accounts which were to be forfeited were then released to him after he satisfactorily prove that the funds were earned legitimately.

I was so touched by the courage of the then Governor to have gone to US to challenge the action. PSO and I took the letter to the IGP. He read it and directed we forward it to Chairman of the Party in Lagos.

We were not to give any advice or opinion. IGP said the party had a legal adviser and will advise the party as appropriate.

I put up a covering letter and sent the letter from the FBI to Chairman of AD in Lagos.

Fast forward to the last general election same allegations surfaced again and it broke my heart. An innocent man was being defamed left right and center. In my heart I knew all the labelling will come to nought as I had first hand details on the matter.

It is instructive that the President has taken all the mudslinging in his stride. He said it was his right to be insulted!

But there was this guy that called the President a criminal. If prosecution is diligent he will certainly be jailed at the end of the day. The onus is on him to provide record of conviction of the President. If he fail to do so he will join a certain citizen of particular concern in Sokoto.

I will keep giving you one thousand reasons why all the treacherous move of IPOB and Igbos is because they hated the fact that a Yoruba man is the president of Nigeria. Everything is born out of hatred!

Let’s remind ourselves of history a little bit. Because I like going to the past so that we can understand the future.

Who arrested and extradited Nnamdi Kanu? It was under Buhari.

Who declared IPOB a terrorist group? It was under Buhari.

Who maintained a tough stance on their violent activities? Buhari again.

Yet, during all those years, IPOB never ran to Trump, Biden, or the international community crying Christian genocide or Christian persecution.

But suddenly, now that a Yoruba man, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is at the helm of power, the same IPOB and their online army have become human rights activists overnight.

Let’s call it what it is tribal hatred, not love for justice. Their issue isn’t about biafra freedom, it’s about who holds the power.

They kept quiet when a Fulani man handled them like a petty criminal, but they are now restless because a Yoruba man is succeeding where they predicted absolute failure.

You can’t fool some of us or reasonable Nigerians anymore. We see the pattern. We see the bias. This new wave of anti-Tinubu propaganda is not activism. it’s deep hatred and envy wrapped in ethnic bitterness.

Go and write it down today which is 5/11/2025.. IPOB’s propaganda will terribly backfire against them. Why? Because truth always wins at the end
